Qualitative Analysis Masterclass: Part 2 Applying External Models and Theories
November 2010 - date TBA
Part 1 will show you how to develop internal models and theories that derive from your set of data, yet often analysis can be enriched by applying established knowledge from outside the research that gives structure and insight to findings from inside the research.
You can use ready made and validated concepts that give depth of field and validity. This day is a review of the most useful ones from NLP, psychology (e.g. attribution theory, attitude formation, motivation, cognitive dissonance, transactional analysis), theories of lifestages, typologies, cultural meaning, archetypes and signs and symbols, as well as marketing, advertising, and communication models.
